Which newsletters have the most to offer pastors and other church leaders? Well, there's a million opinions on that, but in my opinion, prioritize:

  • Relevance: the newsletter should be grounded and practical.
  • Honesty: the newsletter should not sugar-coat or gloss over difficulties or challenges.
  • Jesus-first: the newsletter should consistently point my attention to Jesus.

I've gathered 15 newsletters for you that hit all those priorities (and then some). In my experience, each has a lot to offer those of us in church leadership. they're a good mix of tech insights, preaching & teaching resources, and general support.

The Real Goal: More Time for What Matters

Likely, you're not going to subscribe to all of these.

The point is finding the two or three that help you spend less time scrambling and more time on prayer, teaching, and discipleship. Every newsletter should pass a simple test: does it give you back more time than it takes? If it sits unread for weeks, unsubscribe without guilt.

Start with one or two that address your biggest need. Give them a month. If they're not delivering value, cut them loose.

And if you want more resources like this, subscribe to TheLeadPastor.com newsletter.

We'd love to have you.
